Epax E10/X10 8.9″ 4K Mono LCD

8.9″Mono LCD screen from Epax is compatible with Epax E10 3D printer and version mono Epax X10 3D printer. It is an original replacement part.

Both E10 and X10 use the same mainboard and the same screen interfaces so the E10’s 4K mono screen can be used with the X10 with just a quick firmware update.

Features

• Monochrome LCD screens last much longer than color screens (with proper use your screen should last several thousand hours).
• This screen has tempered glass installed on top. So even if you spill resin on top of it you can gently shovel it off without damaging the screen.
• 4k screen resolution at 8.9″ size
• Resolution: 3840 x 2160
• Pixel precision: about 47um
• Very short layer exposure times are needed (up to 1/4th of the time needed for color LCD screens)

Note

• Do not leak resin under the screen through edges.  Cover edges with 0.1mm thick kapton tape or reinforced electric tape or precut tape.   A lot of failed screens are due to tiny residues in the resin vat between prints. The residues get pushed into the screen by the build platform, leading to heated stress spots and sometimes even cracks in the screen. Some failures are also due to unnecessary over-exposure time settings. Because screens are considered consumables they are not covered by a warranty. We do guarantee that your screen will work at arrival.
• ALWAYS make sure your vat is free from any debris and that the build plate has nothing on it before starting a new print job.  Monochrome screens are more expensive due to being produced in smaller volumes only for 3D printing.
• Using this screen with other similar 3D printers is NOT supported.
• Replacing your screen always involved re-leveling your build plate.
